A very bubbly and tenacious child was born in Detroit, MI on March 21, 1959, to Alpha and Glynderlyn Hayes who they named Wynne Allison Hayes. Both parents proceeded her in death.
Allison began a relationship with the Lord at an early age, being baptized at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the then leadership of Dr. Frederick Sampson. She later joined St. Cecilia Church where she worked in many different programs. Allison soon met and fell in love with Harold Thompson, they were married and into this union reared four children for 36 years; where they enjoyed hanging out at movies, music events, and building an entrepreneurial business with pre-paid legal.
Allison enjoyed collecting classic board games and watching old TV shows such as "I Love Lucy". Some of her passions included knitting and crocheting various items for family and friends. She enjoyed assisting people whether in her capacity as a TCRU operator or just sharing words of wisdom with the youth within her community. She was most proud of being a G-Ma (Grandmother), her crowning moment. She often said that having grandchildren was like life renewing itself,
On April 14, 2022, the Lord whispered in Allison's ear and told her it was time to come home.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 36 years Harold, her children Alpha, Alexander, Rena, and James, her grandchildren Christina, Sophia, Braiden, Jacob, and Alexander Jr, Lanaya, her sisters, brother, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of family and friends.
"I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall never die."
John 11:25-26
