Nina Anjanette Moore

June 12, 1970 — September 12, 2023

Detroit, Michigan

Nina Anjanette Moore graced this world with her presence on June 12, 1970, in the vibrant city of Grand Rapids. Born to Sandra Moore and George Moore, Sr., she embraced the teachings of Christ at a tender age. Nina was not just a person; she was a radiant, kind-hearted spirit, a true social butterfly who thrived in the company of loved ones.

Her passions in life were simple joys that brought people together. She relished dining out with family and friends, savoring the bonds forged over shared meals. But her culinary talents didn't stop there; Nina was a master of baking. From the most delectable desserts to your wildest sweet dreams, she could craft them all with finesse.

On the morning of September 12, at the precise moment of 7:59 a.m., Nina transitioned gracefully to heaven, reuniting with her beloved mother, Sandra Moore, and her father, George Moore. In her wake, she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Nina's nurturing spirit lives on through her two devoted daughters, Asia and India Moore, and four adoring grandchildren: Paris Moore, Vincent Smith-bey, Michael Duncan, and Brooklyn Clanton. She is also survived by her four siblings: George Moore, Deirdre Moore, Arrion Fuller, and April Fuller, all of whom shared a unique bond of siblinghood.

Her aunts, Felecia Sanford and Alice Martin, and uncle, Dewey Foshee Jr., held a special place in her heart. Likewise, Nina had a close-knit circle of cousins who meant the world to her: Prince McDuell, Karmen Foshee, Damien Sanford, and Dorian Sanford.

Nina's legacy extended to the next generation, as she was an affectionate aunt to Roy Lucky, Xavier Moore, Alexander Fuller, and niece Shayla Lucky. In her friendships, she was steadfast, sharing profound connections with her two best friends, DeNean Sanders and Stephania Tolliver.

As we remember Nina Anjanette Moore, we honor not just the years she spent on this earth, but the love, laughter, and warmth she brought into our lives. Her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts, a testament to the beautiful soul she was.
