Mary Bell McCarter

Mary Bell McCarter passed away on July 9, 2024, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She was born on May 22, 1930, in Crawford, Mississippi.

Mary's life will be remembered and celebrated by her surviving family and friends, including her sister, Maggie Goree; niece, Mary Wilson; adopted daughter and granddaughter, Liz McCants and Patiana McCants; and nieces and nephews  Her love and kindness resonated with all who knew her.

Services to honor Mary's life will be held at Thompson Funeral Home - Dexter Chapel in Detroit on July 13, 2024. A viewing will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. She will then be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit on July 15, 2024. The burial ceremony will commence at 11:00 AM.

Mary's warm presence and unwavering care for her loved ones will always be cherished and deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
