OBITUARY

LeBaron Jones was born on August 26, 1953 to Robert Lee and Catherine Jones in
Birmingham, Alabama. LeBaron was the second oldest out of five children. He received his elementary education in Birmingham, Alabama. The family relocated to Detroit, MI in 1966, where he continued his education in the Detroit Public School System. He attended Northwestern High School, where he excelled in Auto Mechanics. Shortly after high school, his father helped him get a job at Chrysler Corporation in the Trim Department. Later LeBaron found great joy working downtown at the Pontchartrain Hotel for many years and at Little Harry's as a manager. He also had a passion for home improvement, painting, laying tile, etc. For enjoyment, LeBaron liked watching movies, especially "The Untouchables", he really liked seeing the actor's "fashions."

LeBaron was always a quiet, lovable person who worked hard and loved unconditionally. He was a great listener and cared for all who loved him. The love he had for his family and friends was indescribable. He would call his mother everyday to check on her and before his health declined, he would be found helping his father around the yard. Whatever he could do to help others, he did. The bond he had with his siblings was unbreakable. He and his brother, Kenneth (Moochie) have been inseparable for most of their lives and always looked out for one another. Due to health issues LeBaron may not have seen you often, but if you were part of his circle of friends, you were always on his mind and his love for you remained the same.

LeBaron loved God and believed in His Word. God saw LeBaron was getting tired and his assignment was complete, and called him home peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his father and mother, Robert and Catherine Jones; brothers: Kenneth (Moochie) Jones and Marvin Jones; aunt: Mary Leonard (Cleveland, OH); uncles: LaRush Sterling and Nathan Jackson; niece: Aisha Jones; great-nephews: Ethan and Ezra; special cousins: Azuree (Nikki) Walker (Stockbridge, GA), Vincent and
Brandon Gaines (Cleveland, OH) and Raven Clark-Dixon; sister/cousins: Sharon Troutman (Bedford Hts., OH) and Venitta Thomas (Fairfield, AL); extended mother and life-long friends: Mama Bell and daughter Jackie; the Ball family: Larry, Ricky and Kenny; the Lathan family: Donald and Harold and a host of other cousins, relatives and very special life-long friends.

LeBaron was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Jones; sister, Beverly (Tina) Jones; uncles: Ezell Jackson and Edward Mitchell and aunt, Doris Watson.
