Notes from Grandson Austin Thompson
Dear Nana,
I know it's been a rough few years with me being gone in the
military; but every chance I got I tried my best to come and
see you. There's so much you've seen me accomplish since
I was a baby, from taking my first swing at baseball, playing
football, me graduating high school, and seeing me leave
for the military. You've been there every step of the way. I'm
gonna miss so much about you, all the laughs, arguments, me
and my siblings spending the night with a fridge, freezer and
cabinet filled with favorite snacks and drinks and so many
other memories that we shared. It's gonna be hard not being
able to talk to you anymore but I'll be fine. I know you're In a
better place now. Fm thankful to cal! you Grandma and I just
wish 1 could hear you call me "Boo Boo" one last time. I love you
so much Nana and I'm really gonna miss you.
Love,
Boo Boo ( Austin)
WORDS OF LOVE
"DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP"
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

SISTER,
Like an Angel you are my inner voice and part of my heart
We are deeply connected having shared love, laughter, trials
and tears. You have a beautiful soul and I love to see your light
shine. Family made us sisters and for this I will always be...
